of Chipping in Buckland, Hertfordshire

This is the last Will and Testament of me Fanny Doo of Chipping in the Parish of Buckland in the County of Hertford Spinster ffirst

I give and devise unto my Brother George Doo and his assigns during his life one Annuity or yearly Rent or sum of fifty pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to be issuing and payable out of my real estate clear of all deductions whatsoever by equal quarterly portions on the twenty fifth day of March the twenty fourth day of June the twenty ninth day of September and the twenty fifth day of December in every year the first quarterly payment thereof to be made on such of those days as shall first happen after my decease with like powers of entry and distress in case of nonpayment thereof as are usual and legal in cases of nonpayment of rents reserved upon leases

And if need be in case of deficiency of my real estate for that purpose I also charge my Personal Estate with the payment of the same annuity And subject to and hereby charged with the payment of the said annuity to my said Brother George Doo and his assigns during his life

I give and devise all my real estate whatsoever unto my Sister Ann Doo and her assigns during her life and after her decease unto my Sister Elizabeth Crouch Cowell Widow her heirs and assigns for ever

I give to my said Brother George Doo and my Nieces ffanny Doo Mary Moil and Stephana Ann Docwra the sum of ten pounds each for Mourning

And as for all the residue of my Personal Estate after and subject to the payment of my just Debts and ffuneral charges I give and bequeath the use interest and annual produce thereof unto my said Sister Ann Doo during her life and after her decease unto my said Sister Elizabeth Crouch Cowell during her life and from and after the decease of the Survivor of my said Sisters I give and bequeath all such residue of my personal Estate unto my Nieces ffanny Ann Cowell Sarah Cowell Ann Cowell Elizabeth Cowell Mary Ann Cowell and Emma Cowell equally to be divided amongst them at their respective ages of twenty one years or days of marriage which shall first happen and the interest and income thereof in the mean time to be applied towards their respective maintenance and if any of them my said Nieces shall die before their respective shares shall become payable the share or shares of such of them as shall so die shall go to and be equally divided amongst the Survivors or others of them at the same time or respective times with their respective original shares which accruing share or shares shall be subject or liable to the life benefit of Survivorship as the respective original shares

And I do appoint my said Sisters Ann Doo and Elizabeth Crouch Cowell Executrixes of this my Will and do hereby revoke all former Wills by me made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty second day of September in the fifty eighth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King George the Third and in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and eighteen

Proved at London 6th April 1819 before the Worshipful John Danbery Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the Oath of Ann Doo Spinster the Sister one of the Executrixes to whom Admon was granted having been first sworn duly to administer Power reserved to Elizabeth Crouch Cowell Widow the Sister also the other Executrix
